The singer, the actress, the public figure and the young mother Zara told Beautyhack about her tense work schedule, love to sport and how it is important to spend more time with children.

About the current projects
I have a lot of work now, firstly, I`m recording a new album . Actually, the new year started in a positive manner: we released a new single which was written for me by the Ukrainian singer Tatiana Reshetnyak. This song took good positions in all charts – in iTunes and Shazam. Also, we started a clip rotation that got a plenty of good comments, now it is being rotated on our musical channels. For each singer it`s a kind of level, a small victory when people like the song.
We were making the clip in New York and many people asked, why there exactly? The thing is that I wanted to cooperate with the director Karina Kandel long ago – by the way, she is like me, from Saint Petersburg. I had a concert trip in New York and I decided not to waste my time, so the clip was shot with a usual reflex camera in summer. We didn`t have to block streets to make a good shot. Moreover, each song in my repertoire has a peculiarity – we discuss a text of the song for a long time, because I want to sing what I`m thinking about. That`s why, all my songs are autobiographical.

A couple of days ago I became a trustee of our President and before this, I entered the Putin team (the public organisation, organised by a hockey player Alexander Ovechkin). And more than a year ago I became an artist for Peace by UNESCO and it is a great responsibility. There were a few interesting and necessary events made – exhibitions for kids, concert for disabled children but talented unlimitedly.
One of the significant concerts was in December, 4 in the head-quarters of UNESCO in Paris and I invited my friends: Daniel Pluzhnikov, Julia Samoilova, a blind musician Valentin Tkachenko and the group of gestural singing “Singing hands”. You can`t even imagine, how wonderful their performances are! Last year, together with Disney Russia we organised a big concert named “You are unique” – we invited children from different foundation, people with different peculiarities. They are so friendly, warm, kind and nice people that I really don`t know who got a bigger pleasure of us – me, when I was singing with my band for them, or they did.
Our action should explain to everyone that it`s a big deal to believe in oneself, to develop one`s abilities, because every person has something special inside. You just need to make efforts.
And it is a great happiness when you have people who can reveal these talents. I think, it`s me who was chosen as an ambassador of the World Football Championship, I`m working with the problems of disabled people long ago. And in this case, I`m responsible for them to feel comfortable at the stadium during the championship.
For me, as for the UNESCO artist, it was very important to organise the first ethnic festival in Kolomensky Park. It was a big show and a real musical triumph. My collegues came to support me – Jasmin Levy from Israel, Goran Bregovich from Serbia, Nino Katamadze from Georgia and our native singer Pelageya. It was September, 9 – the City Day in Moscow, but despite the cool weather, people stayed until the end. Now we are in the middle of preparation to the festival of this year and I know exactly that ethnic music should be saved and supported by any means, otherwise it disappears.
