“Solo concert in Kremlin is a new step for the artist”

Last Saturday in the State Kremlin Palace there was a big solo concert by the honored artist of Russia – Zara.

Accompanied by the symphony orchestra, she sang the best compositions of her repertoire, and also presented new songs. After the concert Zara answered some questions.

– How long was the show prepared?

– The thing is that being artists, sometimes we start rehearsing a show long before the premiere and working on it until the last moment. To be honest, at first I was about to perform the program of the last year. However, the show director Alexey Golubev said: let’s modernize it a little bit.

Every solo concert, especially in Kremlin, is a new step for the artist. Thanks to all viewers and performers for support!
– Let’s talk about special guests at your Kremlin concerts. A year ago it was Andrea Bocelli. This year you sang with Mireille Mathieu. Doesn’t she like you?

– I hope, yes. Her high estimation of my work is really important for me. Each performance with Mireille Mathieu is not only a great honor for me, but also a professional examination. I dreamed to sing with her as a duet since childhood. A year ago this dream came true at the festival “Spasskaya tower”.
