The Honored Artist of Russia, the Artist for Peace by UNESCO Zara performed in the opera ground in Doha, on the occasion of the crossing year of Russian and Qatar cultures.

Zara told to RIA News, that when she got an invitation from Qatar, she prepared to her future performance with “maximal tender and attention”.

“We made up the program in different languages, selected the international repertoire, because we wanted to show the whole Russia as a big and multinational country. I invited four deaf girls to perform here with me, they are from the female singing band “The Singing hands”. When I have an opportunity, I always bring them with me. They are wonderful girls, we have already performed for many times, it’s a huge joy for me, because they emit a true light and kindness, being beside me, they can demonstrate love in one gesture”, the singer added.

The audience, who were at her concert in Qatar, started to sing with the deaf girls, moving their hands. “Many watchers supported them in the hall and began to sing with gestures, and at the end they showed a gesture, meant applauding”, she underlined.

The singer performed songs in different languages – Russian, French, Kurdish, Armenian, but as for Arabic, just a short chorus part in one of the songs, so to her next arrival in Qatar Zara promised to learn the whole song in Arabic language.
