ZARA TOLD ABOUT THE SOURCES OF HER INSPIRATION

The Russian singer Zara, who performed her concert in Qatar for the first time, is inspired by women from the ruling family Al Tani in the emirate. The honored artist of Russia and the Artist for peace by UNESCO told about it to RIA News.

“I’ve been always watching Qatar with a great admiration, perceiving it as a country with many secrets, beauty, nobility. I highly respect the ruling family of the emirate, especially it refers to two women, who inspire people all over the world and my person as well – Sheikha Moza ( the ex-emir’s wife) and Sheikha Al-Mayassa (the ruling emir’s sister)”, Zara shared.

“Sheikha Al-Mayassa, as the head of the organization “Qatar museums”, was called as one of the most powerful women in cultural sphere of the world (according to Art Review magazine). In her turn Sheikha Moza – one of a few women, who struggles for equality among the Eastern women in the whole world, for women to be able to have rights, to be educated in a proper way, she pays a special attention to children’s education in the world, it can’t be out of respect. These ladies really inspire and admire”, she added.

As Zara said, you can hardly find any similarities between Qatar and Russia, but if you see deeper – both countries are united in their call for the world and creativity.

“We speak different languages, live in various climate conditions, but we have a common thing – it’s a true call for creativity, peace, love, all of these is independent of race, skin color, religion, and the most important fact is humanity, for our children are able to live in peace and consensus, our states are really similar in these questions”, the singer thinks.
