On the 9th of September, the International Ethnic Festival “Music of Our Hearts” will be held in Kolomenskoye. The singer Zara, awarded the title “UNESCO Artist for peace”, is the curator of this festival.
The festival of ethnic music and folklore will unite on its stage artists who represent the national colors of Georgia, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Israel, Russia. Such outstanding musicians as Nino Katamadze, Goran Bregovic, Sevara, Pelageya, Yasmin Levy, the Georgian Ensemble “Rustavi” and many others, performed compositions, whose melodies depict the historical experience of peoples, cultural characteristics and traditions of the countries they represent.
Today, the strength of ethnic culture is the uniqueness and identity of each nation. It is a festival of fusion and memories of the importance of peaceful interaction and cooperation in the modern world. One of the main goals of the event is to increase the audience of ethnic songs admirers and popularize festivals of this level in Russia.
The festival is supported by the Government of Moscow and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
